In 2009, veteran Bay Area actor Julian Lopez-Morillas, fulfilled a life-long dream in creating his solo show based on the life and work of Robert Browning, in particular the dramatic monologues and love letters between Browning and Elizabeth Barrett.

The show premiered at The Barn Theater in Ross, Marin County, and at San Jose Stage Company, in San Jose, California.  Lopez-Morillas has also performed the full show and excerpts elsewhere.The San Francisco Browning Society was an early and eager supporter of this work.

At present, Lopez-Morillas is preparing to take the show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the internationally-known gathering of performance artists from around the world, in Summer of 2012, in honor of Robert Browning's bicentennial.
